Reading these comments, its obvious just how brainwashed the Australian public are.

Trump is attempting to diffuse a very dangerous situation. Your globalist controlled media wants a war, a WW3, except of course they don't say that, but its exposed by the low-brained sycophants here.

So why do these psycho globalists want a war? There are intelligent posters here that may delve into this question.

Personally after many years of listening to Putin's speeches and press releases, I like the man - a patriot. Pity there are very few in Oz.

Read between the lines.  Zelensky wants the deal, but with security guarantee.  Ukraine does not want US to drain its resources and then leave any way.

Wait till Trump cottons-on to Vance's grandstanding made Trump look like a bitch... Vance will be back to pumping gas in Appalachia.

Grin Grin

He was a little out of his lane on occasion!

The whole fiasco was a stitch-up that went horribly wrong for Trump and Vance.

They didn't expect Zeelnsky would have the balls to call Trump out... but then they're all doing it now... Trudeau, Macron, Canadian MPs, Starmer and now Zelensky... even Tony Abbott.

This is going to be a regular thing now...

Next will probably be Germany's new Chancellor, Friedrich Merz...

The last in the conga line, if at all, will be the sitting Australian prime minister of the day.

Well, Yankists should know they're f~cked when an Australian prime minister stands up to them!

Albanese:

"We stand with Ukraine.

"This year we've seen a land war in Europe go on for three years. The people of Ukraine are fighting not just for their own national sovereignty, they are fighting for the international rule of law.

"We will continue to stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes, because this is the struggle of a democratic nation versus an authoritarian regime led by Vladimir Putin, who clearly has imperialistic designs not just on Ukraine but throughout that region.

"We, of course, want to see peace in Ukraine and that's what Ukrainian people want as well.

"I tell you how you get peace in Ukraine quickly, which is Russia stopping it's illegal and immoral invasion and Russia stopping the attacks on civilians, on civil infrastructure, engaging in this act of aggression that they have engaged in now for three years."

They'll do worse than that... They'll take the deal to Putin and sell off Ukraine for a better deal from him.

I'm overseas at the moment, I really was trying to ignore all this bullshit but it's all over my feeds.

I really need to watch it proper but bugger me, what a shitshow. How does anyone look at what happened and not see Trump and Vance as disrespectful hosts if not flat out Russian stooges.

One very important point, despite not having press credentials or approved access, Russian State Media were in the Oval office to live stream it on Russian state TV.

Sky News UK called them out as they recognised them, at which point they alerted the Trump team who after the attempted bullying session, pantomimed them being escorted out.

Ask yourself, how do Russians without any clearance or press credentials make their way to a prime position in the most secure room of the White House, unless they were invited and given access? You have to go trhough multiple security checkpoints and be known to security.

Can we stop pretending that Trump isn't a Russian asset now?

Whats wrong with you dumbarses? Giving up is not, nor has it ever been,  'making a deal'.  Cheesy Cheesy

Not only that, but rewarding the invader by giving them practically everything they want is not how you make peace. It's how you invite further aggression. As the former US Secretary of State Dean Rusk said, "appeasement only makes the aggressor more aggressive". Neighbouring countries near Ukraine are very nervous about what Putin will do next, because they don't think he'll stop at Ukraine.

People also have to realise that there is one silent party closely watching how this whole thing unfolds and how Trump handles it, and that's China. What happens between Ukraine and Russia and Trumps' role in it is absolutely going to determine how much of an effect this has on their plans to take Taiwan. If they see Trump force Zelenskyy bend the knee to Putin, they'll move up their plans to invade Taiwan without hesitation in the knowledge that America under Trump will do little or nothing to stop them.

What impact Trump has on Ukraine and Russia isn't going to be felt only by those two nations. It will be felt elsewhere and will have serious, potentially deadly ramifications.

In the good ol' days, all this arguing between leaders would have been done behind closed doors, now - Trump is happy to display this sort of crap live in front of the world media.

Interesting times.  Shocked

Even more worryingly, if anyone thought things would be better if Trump were to cease being US President for whatever reason, they now know that JD will be just as bad.  Sad

They've exposed their true colours in front of the world's media.

Russian stooges, indeed.

Vance is a dead set
c
unt who went out of his way to start an argument, and then did everything he could to keep the argument going.

And Trump has shown the world just how incredibly bad he is at negotiating.  Absolutely hopeless.

This will ultimately backfire on Trump and his eyeliner-wearing arse licker.

I think it'll happen within the next 12 months, depending on when any deal with Ukraine and Russia materialises if Trump keeps going the way he's going and Zelenskyy capitulates. There will be stiff resistance from Taiwan, as they have a much more advanced and better trained military than Ukraine. It will take time to overcome Taiwanese military forces, hence why they will want to start sooner rather than later while Trump is still President. They will not want to risk being at war with Taiwan when a Democrat comes to office.

Vance is spineless and has shown what a two-faced biatch he is. He has gone from calling Trump "America's Hitler" to his staunch defender.

Zelenskyy is right to want security guarantees. He is also right to want NATO membership. Without either or both, Russia will invade again and be better prepared the third time around.

Vance will be worse than Trump.

He's every bit as evil as the rapist and convicted felon, but isn't suffering from severe mental (and physical) health problems.

Vance is a very, very dangerous individual.

Was it Vance who asked why he wasn't wearing a suit? Like WTF? What a ridiculous question

Zelenski should have replied that his tailor had been blown up by russian rockets
