Well the USA did try to get Putin to stop for 3 years and it didn't work.
Even though Putin lost half a million soldiers -
no one knows the true figure - he won't stop.
So - what can the USA do?

Yes - probably they would help us for a while - 3 years? - if we were invaded but
ultimately we would be left to lose in any war too.
Everything has a limit.
