Trump will fail to deliver any deal and Ukraine will gain support from Europe....The United States cannot be trusted with Trump as it's dictator in Chief and it's allies are starting to doubt Trump's motives....Since when has Russia ever been anything but hostile to the West....Why does Trump think NATO was formed in the first place....Kiss those rare minerals goodbye fat arse???

The true issue is what choice has Ukraine?
They can enter into a war ending deal with Trump and American assistance or go it alone or perhaps gain support of the EU and the war continues on and on for years on end?

The Ukrainian president is now wedged.
Fwiw he was a little disrespectful but in his position and of his character I think he controlled himself extremely well.

I only hope that communication can be restored and a way forward found.
The killing must stop just as in Gazza.

Nearly all of it was outdated equipment that was due to be destroyed which would have cost hundreds of millions due to hazardous materials disposal requirements.

No, they were forced to sacrifice their lives in an age (ie, up until 1946) when "might is right".

But now we live in the age of MAD......

And since your obsolete belief in 'absolute national sovereignty' destroyed the vision of the UN "to save mankind from the scourge of war" (via an effective UNSC unencumbered by a veto), the world needs a strong man who is a lover of life, to fulfill that role.

The whole fiasco was a stitch-up that went horribly wrong for Trump and Vance.

They didn't expect Zeelnsky would have the balls to call Trump out... but then they're all doing it now... Trudeau, Macron, Canadian MPs, Starmer and now Zelensky... even Tony Abbott.

This is going to be a regular thing now...

Next will probably be Germany's new Chancellor, Friedrich Merz...

The last in the conga line, if at all, will be the sitting Australian prime minister of the day.
