It's about the answers, I'm just wondering how informed you are, or how willing to be informed you are.

I don't want to waste either of our time if you've already made your mind up and are just looking for excuses to justify it like most people you deal with here.

Have you taken the time to educate yourself on why migration rates are at their current levels and the broader economic factors driving the cost of living crisis, or are you committed to remaining an uninformed, single-issue voter clinging to simplistic narratives?

Do not try to overcomplicate the eyewash.  Immigration levels are far too high. In every category: students, 'skilled', family, refugees.

There is no net economic benefit and there are big losses  of social cohesion, quality of life and amenity, housing affordability, education standards.

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

The Polls will have them neck and neck as always because they really have no idea and it shows with previous Fed and State elections, they've been rarely close.
Polls are for Pelicans to sit on.

Dutton should go one step further from his cuts to migration and put a hold on permitting foreigners buying residential property in Australia. That's what's having a huge impact on the rental and house sales markets. Too few houses available for rent with too many people looking for a place to rent.

Units and apartments went up 14% the last 8 months in a suburb next to mine.
(SE Melbourne)
People will pay anything to get a humble roof over their head.
50 or 60 people line up to rent a little one bedroom flat at high rental prices.

Albo doesn't care about people at all,  at all,  at all.

I read an article in a newspaper last weekend showing a photo of an enclosed balcony for rent in Sydney at $250 a week and I thought, this is just ridiculous. I actually think it's harder to get a rental than it is for a home loan these days, which is just insane. It's only gotten worse under Labor.

yes, funny how the it takes longer to build a house then destroy it ... and the libs have spent ten years destroying the economy. Inflation is lower now then it was when they took over so the road to recovery is starting, but it can't happen in one term. NOTHING the libs have suggested will curb property price rises and rent increases ... nothing. The only thing that might have had a real impact would have been cuts to CGT and NG ... but the libs made sure that would never happen.

Dutton also wants to streamline the public service.

by increasing spending an extra $20B per YEAR on contractors Cheesy Cheesy

At least Dutton has a genuine plan for that other than a handout - a gas reservation policy will help in bringing down electricity prices whereas Albo's rebates do nothing.

he has no gas reservation policy. He has refused to make it a law .. according to him the gas companies will do it because he has asks them Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

both you and mr potato are deluded

Can you show us where Dutton said he will not make a gas reservation policy law?

How is the Navy to carry its share of the load in defending Australia at a time of US Neo-Isolationism?  Oz has one Collins on duty at any given time due to maintenance and crewing .....

Our people once were warriors and jake - now they're nothing but worriers and losers.
