A perfect example of the petty village fortress sub-tribal group mentality, and of the approach of such groups to resolution of issues with others - the Aboriginal thing - "it's either us of them and we're gonna wipe them out" - complete fantasy and self-delusion - the same kind of self-delusion that leads them to the belief that they 'own' every bit of land that their ancestors may have wandered about on.

Reminds me of a sci-fi short story years ago - Someonotron, conqueror of Universes, sights Planet Earth and sets about invading - trumpeting triumphantly and bringing his ships and troops in for the invasion - stopping in the air and issuing the ultimatum - give up now, Earthlings, or be destroyed! Bloke picks up a can of fly spray and sprays it and kills them all... 'damned bugs'...... There was that Episode of The Simpsons too, where Bart The Destroyer trashed the empire built around Lisa's tooth..

Same here - this is the way they think - this is the way they talk between one another (and then wonder why they are always in conflict and trouble with others) - the way of the primitive trying to rule a far greater force by force. History is full of such people - Hitler gleefully declaring war on the United States after Japan attacked Pearl Harbour - to the absolute dismay of his more thinking generals who knew right then they had lost the war - The Japanese thinking they could use their 'inner spirit'; to defeat, dominate and control half the world - Vlad, following in the footsteps of every Russian Capo past and throwing his troops away, bringing despair and poverty to the mass of the people and building a set of allies against him - Hamas crowing about defeating Israel by biting their leg (Monty Python) - Iran thinking that with Allah on its side it will conquest the entire world .....

Delusional thinking of primitives ... so I'll say it again - either Albo is the dopiest PM we've ever had - along with all of his advisors and henchpersons - or he is the most cunning statesperson for a very long time in Australia - because he brought this endless series of problems OF the Aboriginal groups here to the forefront - and woke the people up to the real need for real action. Every time one of 'their leaders' fronts up - he/she declares war on Australia and sets the clock running ....

That kind of war talk might sound tough over a few VBs - but it has no place in the real world.
