The singer of this band was a good friend of mine back in the early '80s.

I unfortunately lost touch with him in recent years, and just found out today that he passed away about 18 months ago.

So, I'm listening to this old song and remembering the great times we had back at Blazes Nightclub in North Perth 40 years ago.

This is a little known classic that could've been composed by
Giorgio Moroder for Donna Summer—but wasn't. At 5:53 we
hear what I'd call pure Moroder (maybe a sample?).

The bloke in the image is a very young Harry Wayne Casey (K.C. geddit?).

And yes... this old fart loved the 70s to 80s disco stuff.

It was such a welcome relief from Paul Simon, Barry Manilow,
Debby Boone, Neil Young, James Taylor etc.
