Perhaps they were just going fishing?  Cheesy

Xmas island is a long way from Australia, you assclowns should try google earth and see how far from Australia it is.

1 boat big deal.

The Territory of Christmas Island is a territory of Australia

How far from Indonesia is Xmas island?
How far from Australia is Xmas Island?

They made it to Xmas Island they didn't make it to Australia.

Almost all the boats during Rudd/Gillard's time went to Xmas Island. It make sense as its  Australian territory and much closer to Indonesia.

Christmas Island shire president Gordon Thomson said locals spotted the fishing boat early on Friday morning about 100 to 200 metres from Smith Point, the entry to the island's harbour.

These people are now Australia's refugees. It is illegal for the Turnbull mob to traffic these people into another country.

Children drowning, or being raped and abused in Australian concentration camps, is always a concern to me.

The fact that it doesn't bother you at all, comes as no great surprise.

So one boat slips through the blockade.

There are two possibilities: 1. The first boat that tests the blockade in over a year just happens to slip through or 2. There are are a lot more boats being stopped and turned around on the high seas than we're led to believe.

If its 2, then the libs mantra about stopping the boats is a complete joke.

Absolutely nothing.

Not a credible source not covered anywhere else.

12 people, normally they pack them in like sardines in a tin so this sounds like some fishermen who got lost or broke down , who were then rescued by our Navy and taken home.
