It isn't just the "hommers" (as you put it) who are spreading monkeypox although governments (and the media) worldwide seem to be trying their best to make everyone believe that's the only method of transmission.
From your link:
Quote:The Australian government’s
healthdirect website says monkeypox can be spread from person to person via infected droplets from coughs or sneezes being inhaled or landing in the eyes, nose or mouth; physical contact with infected bodily fluids or scabs or blisters, for example, from sexual contact; and touching bedding, towels or clothing used by an infected person.
Monkeypox is also airborne (just like COVID-19) but, just like what happened with Covid, governments are trying their hardest to 'downplay' the seriousness of this. I believe it was the CDC in the United States who recently removed the section from their online website which stated monkeypox is airborne.
The UK government still has monkeypox listed as airborne as they've had for many years but they've recently added a 'disclaimer' which looks like they're also attempting to 'downplay' the danger.
See attached screenshot which I've just taken from
here (scroll down).
I wonder if governments and the media will still be trying to tell everyone that monkeypox is only a disease of the "hommers" if it starts spreading in schools? I hope that doesn't happen, of course but it's a definite possibility if governments keep their heads in the sand with monkeypox like they've done/they are still doing with Covid.
