So this is one of the end results of the failed and disastrous water allocation scheme? A government body allocates water, sets some aside (like national parks) and say that is 'unused' and therefore fair game for dispensation to any special group?

I think it's a great idea to ensure those eel traps continue to work... they need to create of them a tourist trip too... could be a thriving industry for eel for the market...

So.... errrr..... any time there is 'unallocated water' - meaning water that hasn't had a paid licence scam on it - it can be given to a special mate? Think on this...

Oh - and BTW - there are NO unused portions of national parks... they are always in use as national parks... beware of half-baked public servants behind their iron masks making decisions without reference to the people and stakeholders.

It's a form of real fascism ..... and is a genuine national security issue.
