It takes time and effort to get fat, and it's not wasted if it gets that result.

And some guys go for the fatties.

'One of the strongest determinants of carcass fat quality in pigs is the level and composition of triacylglycerols in the diet.
Stress, management, and environmental conditions play important roles in fat metabolism and thus carcass quality. These factors result in hormonal and physiological responses which stimulate changes in growth performance and lipid metabolism. Understanding and managing the factors that control carcass fat quality is a challenge for swine producers and provides opportunities to improve final carcass quality and profitability of pork production.'

Women (AND men for that matter) just need to do more housework and gardening and washing and cleaning. That will soon quickly sort out their fat issues.

What I find of interest…. are those younger than my gen are more comfortable with their body shape or size. I envy that confidence.
My gen were confronted with the likes of anorexic twiggies hence even just a normal weight we female had, we felt we were not skinny enough for size 6 or 8!
Size 10 was big enough and size 12 was getting fat!
For crying out loud!!!

When I see a nice little clothing item size 10 I buy for my daughter and she says it’s swimming on her!
How is it I perceive her to be a 10 when she’s an 8?
I look at these clothing and it feels strangulating at size 8  Grin
I think it’s funny, me..a… mamma…looking to buying little skinny clothes ….of course not for me…silly!Grin
When I go into plus size stores… I get a real ego buzz as I have to buy the smallest size!  Cheesy
That makes me feel skinnier…in my mind anyway.

One thing though…. there’s no excuse for any size fem to dress sloppy looking when there’s so many great designs for apple or pear shape, tall or petite, and good specials…. even op shops have amazing stuff.
So there’s no excuse for dressing poorly or not suitable for one’s body shape.
It’s about taking care of one’s appearance.
I’m not perfect but I’m always getting compliments on my clothing, jewellery worn etc
I don’t wear expensive jewellery… I like changeable cheap dress jewellery or made out of semi precious stones/crystals/agate.
I recall old aunts wearing the same gold jewellery forever.
My dad used to say I dressed like a gypsy!  Grin Well I did grow up in the “mod” 60s and “hippy” 70s.

The clothes manufacturers understate the size of their clothes to make their customers feel better.
example -
they will call a size 16 dress a size 14 so the woman doesn't think she's so fat.

That may be so… but sizes are just not accurate anymore!
I’ve bought stuff online and find different countries have different ideas what size S, M, or L mean!

Recently I bought a nice dress and found my usual size was way too much so I had to get a much smaller size and it fit perfect.

Can’t trust the sizing anymore, even shoes!

It takes a month to go from being fit to obese, if you don't exercise and eat a high-fat high high-sugar diet. The longer you stay obese, the more difficult it is to get back to being fit.

Only two weeks into sobriety, I have found that the body is getting that straining feeling of losing fat content and the organs being able to work without the impairment of having to repair the damage of alcohol. A month from now, I will have that feeling that I was not a drinker in the first place (getting that mindset that I have forgotten what it was like to be drunk). However, that is 6 weeks of sobriety. There is still the issue of being obese.

The effects of being obese:
All-causes of death (mortality).
High blood pressure (hypertension).
High LDL cholesterol, low HDL cholesterol, or high levels of triglycerides (dyslipidemia).
Type 2 diabetes.
Coronary heart disease.
Stroke.
Gallbladder disease.
Osteoarthritis (a breakdown of cartilage and bone within a joint).
Sleep apnea and breathing problems.
Many types of cancer.
Low quality of life.
Mental illness such as clinical depression, anxiety, and other mental disorders.
Body pain and difficulty with physical functioning. [Source]

Why any person wants to be super morbidly obese is beyond my understanding. And I got to the point some years back before I decided to undo the problem through better diet, sobriety and exercise. Obesity should not be tolerated. People can be a little overweight. But, people should do something about undoing obesity.

Had it occurred the possibility that maybe the clothing has shrunk in the wash? I bought clothes years ago and found that they shrunk over time. Whether I was fat or fit, I know that I was not able to wear the shirts after a number of years and that I would not have bought the shirt in the first place if I was unable to wear the shirts loosely.

Yes many times clothes have shrunk in the wash. I do read the care labels and many times I hand wash special or delicate items.

But when buying a new item in store and the sizes are not correct… I did mention even shoes sizes can be inaccurate.

There’s one particular online store of clothing I like… mainly because of the ratings and feedback given on each item from other buyers such as “lovely flowing top, great colours, true to size” etc
Some comments could be “had to go down a size to my usual size”

Anyway, you can tell I’m into mad shopping and I love a good online bargain on something I keep my eye on  Grin I sometimes get an item that was $199 when first out, for $39 with random weekly end of season specials.

I saw you standing by the mall
You were twice as wide as you were tall
You dwarfed the soldiers in their overcoats
Ah, Nikita you're much too gross...

Oh, Nikita I can never say
Just how good it feels to run away
Just how good it feels to escape you
Oh, Nikita you're very gross...

I bought all these 3x and XX shirts when I was 'putting on weight in my old age' - now after heart failure, de-fluiding, and cardio surgery I'm back to my old shirts again...   Shocked   ... and I thought I was just getting a little fatter as I grew old - bloody fluid retention nearly got me... what would you all do without me?
