So all your complaints about Albo's lack of detail don't apply to Dutton mining policy?

I recall the AUKUS announcement had very little detail too.

Nevertheless, AUKUS is going ahead.  Wink

Then again ..... a one-liner "By 1990, no Australian child will be living in poverty." didn't have any basis at all and disappeared off the face of the Earth.  Grin

Will nuclear power generation ever happen in this timid country? Time will tell.

By 1990, no politician's child will be living in poverty!!  Along with no retired politician or loyal party line mate... or any old grand stander on the front lines of the Social Scientists War On Everyone Else....  I fear they have become Debt - Destroyer Of Worlds... that comes from the Bag of Bad Guitars...

"Did it ever occur to you, MR Albanese, that The Grappler might have been talking about something far more important than you?"

**cut to Grappie and Einstein near the pond on windy day .. Albert's hat blows off... Grapps recovers it for him**

"Albert - do you remember those figures I gave you to check?  The ones on wage gaps and Black rights and multi-culturalism and such?"

"I remember - the figures with which you said we could set fire to the social atmosphere... blow up the world ... destroy everything...... I remember them well......"

"I think we did, Albert..."

It does.

I have no problem with demanding more details from Labor about their renewables plan.

We need to know.

But there is a great difference between the intention of the two policies.

One wants to reduce emissions and create a landscape where our energy comes from renewable sources.

The other wants to pretend to care about climate change and push Gas under the direction of their mining benefactors without any intention of actually delivering on Nuclear.

I also don't support AUKUS.

That whole sub deal from start to finish has been a mess and it's costing us billions for nothing.

But I suspect you don't want an honest chat about that given all the Liberal fingerprints all over it.

Funny how nobody cared to bring that up in the last 10 years of the Coalition Government, only to pretend to care now that Labor are in charge.

I see what you're doing...

I remember a time when we could demand more of our political leaders, no matter who was in power.

Now it seems to be that we can only demand better of Labor and when the Coalition fall short, we just point to the other side and say "but Labor".

You people criticise those who want safe spaces or talk about being precious snowflakes then you pull this sh
it
?

You're forever trying to cast an alternative reality where none of the rules you demand others follow apply to you.

Dutton needs to provide more detail AND before the election.  We said the same thing about Albo and the referendum.

Oh but now detail doesn't matter because it's the Libs who need to provide it?

Please.

Talk about satire...

Cheesy
Deluded memory loss on a ludicrous scale, sad scroto.

More is demanded from Albo because he is IN power. Did you not demand more and better from Howard, Abbott, ScoMo when they were in power?

If Albo proposed replacing old coal fired plants with nuclear I would support him. I would support Adam Bandt if he proposed it. It makes sense not because WHO proposes it, sad scrots, but because the idea has merit.

I don't support AUKUS.

A stupendous amount of money to be spent on a few submarines which - let's face it - are extremely unlikely to ever see action against real enemies.

Instead, they will be used to play "war games" with the US.

My only agreement with nuclear powered subs idea is that they are superior to conventionally powered subs. IF you are going to have subs, then nuclear powered is the go, but that is a big IF. I don't see the need for them myself.
