My daughter is 19 years old. She is probably 6 months away from finishing her nursing degree. I think she said that she wanted to join the military, or has joined the military. "Duntroon" she said. 80 years ago, it was "Wooloomooloo" But I think she could do well at "Shaolwater".

But she said this 2 years ago, when she was dragging my 100kg arse up the front steps. I doubt a high school senior weighing 50kg needs to be dragging their drunk father upstairs, just because he decided he needed to finish the bottle, instead of leaving it as a tip to the host of the BBQ.

one of the rorts being run was that staff automaticly got 7 days paid leave if they could test positive .

of course, most were assymptomatic as we know this is a very weak virus

much less then influenza A my missus tells me

as YOU pointed out some old guy in aged care has had covid 5 times

anyway, management got sick of staff posting on facebook at the beach or at dreamworld when they were supposedly "sick" with covid , so they cut if back to only 2 claims a year.

of course all the slackers just keep their one positive RAT and then message a pic to the nurse unit manager when they want a week off at taxpayer expense

and because AS I POINTED OUT TO YOU   46 % of nurses are thinking of quiting and they are already worked to death by old fat immobile entitled dickheads pissing the bed thru laziness, when staff take a week off the others just get smashed even harder

so yes covid has made nursing much worse and a lot of good nurses are leaving due to the fat lazy entitled buzzer ringing patients.

now you and gweg get your elderly relatives up to cas so the burnt out staff can care for them whilst you and gweg lecture us on trump for the 140,000th time

The Royal Military College Duntroon was established 113 years ago .... and is still in operation as an Officer training facility.

HMAS Mindari - the Naval gunnery training centre was at Woolloomooloo from 1945 to 1948 - 3 years then decommissioned. The building called the Gunnery still stands.

Shoalwater Bay is a 4,500 sq kilometer military training ground just north of you.... been in operation since 1965. 59 years.

Ltyc means well. He is just too cynical at times. That is what happens when you don't have a father figure in your life. You lash out and provoke people into responding.

I saw this kind of behaviour back in the days of my pizza delivery runs. One customer came in complaining about the fact that his daughter got sick from a spicy chicken pizza. The manager tried to reason with the man about the store policy, claiming that "no one else got sick" that night. He was the only complainant. It got to a point that no matter how much the manager tried to reason with the man, he just would not change his obstinant behaviour. It got to the point that after 10 minutes of reasoning with the man, she just told him to "f. off".

Touche`on the coping mechanisms. About two months ago, it was quite cold up here. I collapsed on the floor after a heavy night of drinking. The last time I collapsed on the floor like that, was during a time when I had an untreated stress fracture of the leg. I got up and went to bed. I had the biggest hangover the next day. Back in early July (post SoO 3), I collapsed onto the floor. Doctor said that I was ill from a ministroke. Started my 12 steps a week later. I am 4 or 5 weeks away from being fully recovered.

I get the feeling that you could not last 8 hours with your wife, other than sleeping. I bet I could do 2 hours with your wife, go have lunch for an hour, come back and finish up the shift. And if I do a poor job with her as my supervisor, she could reprimand me.
