Each column contains a word, spelled top to bottom.

Each of the four 2X2 corner boxes contains a word, spelled CLOCKWISE from top left.

Hint: there are several obscure words that are not in the official word list. The top left and bottom right 2X2 boxes contain a borrowed term. The top right 2X2 box contains a term from linguistics. The third column contains an informal word. The fourth column also contains a word that is not on the list.
